“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16

Our Statement of Faith
In one scriptural verse in the book of John, you will find the most wonderful, overview statement of theology. At the center of our Christian faith is God’s great love for each of us – the amazing gift of His Son, Jesus Christ that we might live eternally. In Christ, we are freed from the power of sin and reconciled to God. As Christians we know that not even death shall separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus. And, through God, all things are possible.
We celebrate the priesthood of all believers. Each of us is in ministry and mission. We are wondrously made by God and given unique gifts and talents that we may glorify him.
Through God’s grace, we have the free choice to love him and follow Jesus. The passage from Matthew reminds us that what truly matters in life are matters of the heart. We cannot earn our way to heaven, yet we shall enter by faith. So, we need not store up treasure on this earth. Instead, we treasure God’s intangible gifts of peace and joy, and his promise of abundant life in Christ. And, ultimately, God is our one true treasure.
